yes, 7 sold at 75 pounds... still not really worth it :p

So why is the 8th 1,075 pounds? It's not stupid bidding, it's a Buy it Now price.

Saves him from re-listing if he expects more of them back in stock. He assumes no one is stupid enough to pay 1000£

Oooh, nice.  Need one of those for my A2000.  ;)  How in the world would something like that wind up at an electronics recycler?

This isn't an Amiga, but HOLY CRAP, especially for something that is marked as "Untested"

While I would love one of those, it  unfortunately would probably just sit around here too!  I at least have my A4000D and my Atari 130XE set up.

I have no attachment to Atari whatsoever, never owned one growing up, never really used one. I got it in a lot with Amiga stuff and was told it was worth a lot of money (doesn't every seller always say that though? ;) ).

Hooked it all up, got TOS to come up (is that even what it is called?). Didn't really know where to go from there and not interested in finding out either .. like I said, no attachment to Atari and not much if any interest at all.

TOS is kind of like the backend of the Atari ST's operating system, where GEM is the Graphical portion, in the same way that you would have a TTY on *nix with Bash or whatever, and X11 as the graphical interface layer.

Guess that's the best way to explain it.  Or AmigaDOS vs Workbench.  Or DOS vs Windows Shell.

Anyhow, if you wouldn't mind parting with it for cheap, I'll take it off your hands!  I have tons of ST disks just sitting in a room next to mine, and at the moment don't have any ST monitors.

To be honest I will probably just start it at a reasonable low price on Ebay and see where it goes.

Between needing to replace my wife's 1995 van and pay for 4 tickets to Europe this Fall to visit my family (once in every 4 year event) I could really use the money :)

I've given up on trying to find anything Amiga related on Ebay.  What can you do with an 060 based A2000 that you can't with an 030 based unit?
