The Amiga 3000 - a VR pioneer
« on: June 15, 2015, 04:27:23 PM »
Hi All

Hope you do not mind me posting this, but with all of the hype around the virtual reality explosion at the moment I thought I would ask Phil South (remember him) to write a story to remind every one of an Amiga pioneer.

Should be good with the 30th party coming.

I remember a A3000 with that shooting game at the Swedish amusement park Gröna Lund. I tried it and it was awesome! :D I must have been 11 or so.

Great article Steve.

Would you like to join us at Recursion 2015 http://www.recursioncomputerfair.co.uk
on Sat 4 July in Stratford-upon-Avon to help celebrate 30 years of Amiga?

At FT. Sill OK, I got a chance to battle another Mech. that was powered by A2000.
This was at the local Mall.
The man who ran the machine seemed to not like the A2000.
He said it crashed alot. :(

very good read!   I think I played one of those VR games at the mall when I was around 18-19..

I cannot download the Virtuality PDF from the site though.
