Title: Wordworth 7 Recoverable errors !!!
Post by: Jose on September 25, 2007, 04:04:23 PM
Just gave it a try on my A4000 WarpEngine040@40/Cybervision64 with Picasso. The damned things gives a recoverable error most of the times, right after loading, without me doing any operation.

Anyone ?

Hi Jose,

Make sure the following ToolTypes in the Wordworth Icon are set.

1. StartFrom reads Workbench and not ARrexx.

2. PICASSO=TRUE

Kind Regards, Michael

Picasso = TRUE didn't make any difference, I'll give it a try with starting the thing from workbench tonight...

I also remember that it used to give me recoverable errors. 9/10 when i quit. I don't remember how i fixed it, it's been a long time since then...
In another thread, you say that you are using the exec v40.68 which contains many bugs. I recommend you to install an exec bug-fix software, like the romfixes module of the Blizkick, (in case you already use blizkick or it supports your CPU card) SystemPatch or any other similar package.
Another thing that you should look at, is to try to install the MCPramlibpatch (It's inside the MCP archive) and increase the stack of the WW executable.

you could also update to WW7.01, the archive is available on aminet http://aminet.net/package/biz/patch/WW701

Just to let you know that I solved the problem that same night  simply by increasing the stack.
Yeah, gotta fix those bugs, I'll probably install Piru's exec but never messed with that and my CPU board (WarpEngine) doesn't support Blizkick. Later when I get the patience...
