Merlancia strikes again...

Looks like they still have plenty of $800 Amiga 1200s in stock. ;-)

These have been circulating on eBay for years now.

I'd rather buy a C64 then!

If he manage to sell one of these, then I have an A1200T for $1000 dollars. Doesn't it sound fair? :-)

For $800 I would rather get a Pegasos, or maybe a really nice 17" TFT and a beefy graphics card for my PC. :-)

I mean, geez, I bought an A1200, 800MB HDD, C= 1084, all issues of AmigaInfo plus a lot of software for 1/4 of the price.

I bought an A4000 last month for just £85. $800! It would have to be some spec to sell at that price...

To quote Mr Hankey:
Holy poop on a stick!!!

I can't imagine that anyone would buy it at that price.  The seller is looking for a miracle.

If you think that this price is unreasonable, try finding one at a dealer and see if they even have one. They may be advertising them, but do they really have any in stock? This is absolutely MINT IN BOX!

 Wankers... Oh, now you've explained that, your price seems very reasonable

Geez...thats over AU$1200, #### that, my A1200 cost me AU$250 and I got a lot more than that. Oh well, come to think of it, some guy tried to sell me stock A1200 for AU$900, some people are have a warped idea of how much this stuff is worth.

More than what I paid in 1992 for my A1200HD, and it doesn't even come with DPaint 4!

Must be that damned American inflation.   ;-)

Same guy that sells Amiga 2000 keyboards for $90 24/7 on eBay. Good grief.
If I have military spec stuff listed on eBay, you can find it here  :-)

I wouldn;t touch that stuff with a sanitizing stick. A1200 is less than 200 in value, in box maybe more for some people who wouldn't use it... for me, maybe 100-150

So they'd have to pay you 4 times the price of the A1200 when you buy it from them?

This is how it goes when you have not had any sleep in a while  :-P

Whatever the market will bear, I guess.

Of course, the rip-off factor comin' down the pike from Merlancia is pretty high so a start of $599 or whatever it was is no big surprise...
