Title: Wanted: Amiga M1764 Monitor
Post by: Ancalimon on January 05, 2012, 08:34:50 PM
I looking for this monitor and want to buy it. It'd better be in Europe since shipping from America would be very expensive and it can break during shipping. I'm willing to pay a good sum for it.

I had one of these and it was nice, but did not last long.  I tried to get it fixed, but they could not get parts for it and I ended up forgetting to pick it back up from the repair shop, as they kept telling me that they were still trying to get the parts and I eventually just forgot all about it.

It was nice having a slightly larger CRT with the Amiga name branded on it back in those days.

I'm still using mine, it's a nice monitor. Bought it 13 years ago and it still works fine.

It has been 12 years. Still looking for one.

Do other 17" monitors exist that have the same functionality?

Hi

As its a rebranded "MicroVitec" made monitor maybe you can find a suitable one and put an amigas sticker on it!

Regards

Barry
