Thanks for making the video and running those tests, Seiya! I can't wait to get this installed on my Aros laptop, hopefully she won't struggle too much. The first Quake runs super smooth on here through Aros though.

Quake III Arena, yet another reason to install Aros! With all this good software being ported, the core OS being improved constantly, and new original applications and games being written for it, it's a wonder more Amiga enthusiasts and hobbyists haven't installed it on their PCs yet. It even boots and runs from a USB stick now, it's so easy! And with Icaros there's no setup required, you just download the ISO, burn it and install it to get a full, modern Amiga desktop environment packed with software ready to use, all for FREE! And depending on the speed of your PC, it could be much faster than MorphOS on a Mac Mini or Amiga OS4 on a X1000 (although both those OSs would be a dream come true if we could all afford the hardware).

It's on my To Do list right after putting AROS on a UBS stick. I just hope all the hardware in my spare old computer is compatable.

Hello, I've done a little video about Quake III Arena and Aquaria on AROS. This video has been taken grabbing the output of my GeForce 7800 TV-out. And it has a nice background song too... ;-)

I'll have to check if the bios in my main pc has a setting for booting to usb, I think it does. 8gb usb sticks are very cheap. Aros will fly on that machine.
This is a nice option for people with windows pcs.
Aros keeps growing. I still want an emac to check out morphos, but I really love aros.
