Because we can!!! :-D

It adds to the versatility of the computers. like you said the Efika is not intended to be a desktop computer. and apart from embedded operating systems there is AFAIK only two OSes available to Efika, Linux and MorphOS.

Aros would be a great addition.

a lot of Amiga users have Efika now. and more will come. and it is nice to have the the freedom to choose an OS that you are comfortable with.

Humpf. Comments here are like a broken long-playing record.

"I have done this"
"you should have not"

"I have not done this"
"you should"

"I have done this like that"
"you should have done it differently"

p.bes

Sadly though MorphOS costs 150 EUR to register. And it registers to the efikas network MAC address...
And my bios battery has died so i do not have the original mac address... until i do, i will not be purchasing os license for some time.

You probably have got instructions how to get the original MAC address back?
My Amigas: A500, Mac Mini and PowerBook
