Agafaster Posts:1175 | March 03, 2006, 11:05:39 AM nice ! I presume you have a nice beefy PSU the size of Sellafield then... |
fragment Posts:218 | June 11, 2005, 07:08:22 AM Nope, it does not need a CD/DVD drive because I don't need one. Everything can be transferred via the network. :-) I have the original RF shield stored somewhere.. But it works nicely without it and I didn't want to cut it to pieces anyway. The setup has evolved a bit since the first photo, here is the current state of the machine. |
orange Posts:2794 | June 10, 2005, 10:32:17 PM what about metal shielding, did you have to throw it away? |
Argo Posts:3219 | June 02, 2005, 01:18:12 AM Needs an internal CD/CD-R or DVD drive. |

Damion Posts:3511 | January 23, 2004, 08:33:13 AM Nice machine! It actually closely resembles my own jam-packed A1200, mine sans Delfina. At one time I was going to fit a Prelude 1200 and CF-IDE setup, but those ideas have lost some steam for the present (until I get bored with my Pegasos)... The Travelstar is an excellent drive...I wish there were 3.5" drives that quiet... And good thinking on those fans...the SD/FF in particular gets rather hot...one intake fan, one exhaust, I presume? ;-) |
fragment Posts:218 | January 20, 2004, 07:24:48 PM Just overclocked this baby to 66MHz :-D Also added two small fans some time ago. Both running at 6 volts. |
Cyberus Posts:5696 | December 30, 2003, 05:48:42 PM I think that setup is really nice! Kudos for keeping it in the original case! |
