060 to PPC, Mediator configuration?

Hi all

I have just upgraded my Apollo 060 card to a Blizzard 060/66 + PPC card. I had a current setup with OS3.9, Mediator, Voodoo 5500, SB128, PCI Ethernet.

I have plugged the card in and it would appear that the PCI boards are not recognised. When I do 'PCIINFO' in a shell it just says 'I can't open pci.library' . It was working fine 2 minutes before I replaced the Apollo with the Blizzard.

At the moment, I have a low res Workbench screen and no RTG because of this.

Is there something I have missed here, do I need to tell the Mediator somehow my system has a PPC etc.?

Don't worry. Sorted it. It was just the 'Config' jumper on the Mediator.

I don't think it has anything to do with you now having PPC - all of the mediator system files are 68k-only so it should run just fine.  The "can't open pci'library" message appears when no graphics card is installed (as the mediator needs the gfx card memory to work).  Are you sure you didn't dislodge the Voodoo from the PCI slot somehow during the upgrade?  Even a fraction of an inch might be enough for it not to be recognised.

Yea, I found the manual, and it actually says for new Blizzards the Config jumper should be 'Open', and as I had the Apollo, it was closed.
