Scumm gives the possibility to run games which were not available on Amiga. Mostly they are games that run in 256 colours. What kind of games ECS version of Scumm runs? Does it do some colour conversion on the fly?

Yep all color conversion done in real time.

Features:

* 16 bit stereo digital SFX and speech
* MIDI music emulation (no hardware required)
* Double buffered 256 color to 64 color ECS graphics conversion
* 16 bit GUI (converted to 6 bit in real-time!)
* Screen shake
* Back ported OS4, MorphOS and AROS code!

Good work Novacoder.
I dont have an ECS machine myself, but I got a kick from checking out some of the youtube videos showing it in action. Hopefully I find time to finally check out both aga and rtg versions soon though.
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

I was asked to add Simon the Sorcerer support to this very old release for OCS/ECS Amiga's and after hacking around for a a bit I managed to release something that seems to work okay.
