Someone does not want the A4000T i sold...
« on: January 10, 2012, 12:43:20 AM »
Hello,

Someone does not want the A4000T I sold, if someone want it they can get the entire computer with the video toaster 4000 and flyer and everything in between for 600 dollars.

But you have to agree with the fact that the battery of the clock is leaking out, it have not damaged the motherboard yet, it can boot to kickstart 3.0 screen and you can boot into the disk drive easily and runs games and applications.

I have not managed to be able to get the IDE port working, when ever I place a device into the IDE it boots with white screen and that is that.

There are three HDs that do not work inside.

If you buy this, you are buying it at your own risk and as is, if you discover some defect on the motherboard or cards I am not responsible for it.

However in return you are getting an A4000T and ACCORDING TO THE GUY who gave it to me it have 128 Mb of Fast RAM I have not tested it.

It will come with a video toaster 4000, and flyers and all the card expansions. The cables that hook on the back for the video toaster is no longer there, and it does not come with a keyboard but I can put a mouse in the package if you want. There is a hole on the front case where the cd rom used to be, so you can fill it up with another cd-rom, it have being removed because it is broken.

If you are still interested please PM or drop a message here...

I will also include the entire video taster books and cds and programs!!

I am waiting for the item to arrive from shipment ones it is arrive I will post it that is ready for sale but as long as I see interested on buying this item.

It comes in queues, so the first person to say he is interested and willing to buy it, it goes to him, then if he changed his mind the next person in line and so on.

My Advice though is to get a new case for this system and clean up the motherboard before something happens to it, it is after all an old system and you are buying it as IS due to old age.

I suggest you remove the battery as soon as it arrives to you.  Every day that a leaking battery remains on the motherboard more damage is occurring.  Also, it must be a desktop A4000 that is installed in a tower case, as a real A4000T had a different type of battery that do not leak and damage the motherboard.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

First, tell us where you are? So we can send local help for that poor amiga.

Second, FIX this poor amiga and

Third... then sell it (maybe more money)
sigh (if you can't or won't fix it)  for sure less money.
