I use FB mostly to keep club members up to date on what LAG is doing, it's their preferred method of communication so go with the flow. Personally I've started to gravitate back towards websites, simply as it's easier to keep track of information and conversation. Coming here this morning proved this, when in less that 25 minutes a fellow member solved my A600 3.9 booting issue.

I've learned more about to Pistorm reading this thread than I have in the last few months, tried checking on Youtube. A friend is thinking of buying one from Amigakit and I know very little about them, other than last year a fellow club member was having no end of issue running software and pretty much swore off using one in his Amiga. Obviously development goes on, compatibility improves, so it's nice to read that WHDload is now more stable when combined with a Pistorm,

@F0LLETT, I agree. Sadly things are becoming more and more dissipated and so information providers have to go where the audiences are. Monetisation is also a problem (depending on perspective); some people are going to put content on a platform they can control and may get financial benefit from (@everyone I'm not implying this is what Claude and Michael are doing, I'm just writing generally).

Amiga.org has, for a long time, been my primary place for Amiga information, but I find myself browsing amigaworld and EAB more. If I find something especially interesting or useful to me I've cross-posted here too (I don't cross-post things I don't know about or have no experience of; people ask me questions which I can't answer) but time, and not being logged in on my phone browser, have also been limiting factors recently.

Will wait and see, didn't Hyperion go bust? I'm sure I saw something about that.

At the moment, I'm just grateful the Amiga is booting up and I can start to use it. Maybe later I'll try 3.2 on another CF card. My friend is experienced in using a programmer and feels confident he can flash the Furia.

There are conflicting reports about Hyperion going around at the moment…. So it’s a wait and see scenario….

Example of a Captcha when sending a PM.

It seems a bit more legable now, but to me its still unworkable. It's about 0.5cm x 4cm and half of the blue letters have a blue rectangle through it... Who can read that ? 

I didn't try the audio version today my colleague will start laughing again when hearing the C64 output of SAM/RECITER doing an 8kHz sample of the Captcha 

To me a forum is unworkable with this type of captchas requiring 4 attempts to get it done.
