What programs are you after? The Amiga.org collective membership can probably tell you where to find them. :-)

As for SASG's stuff, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work on AmigaForever. Nearly anything should be able to work with the right configuration adjustments.

Icons are all just a matter of preference. A default AF install probably uses 3.9's GlowIcons. SASG favors MagicWB, which will look off in a default Workbench color palette. 3.9's Workbench Preferences offer an easy way to correct this. Actual AF6 owners can correct me if I'm wrong ;-)

You are useing AF under WinXP, so yes you are useing WinUAE...

Bdsocket is a small patch that allows (Win)UAE to use the TCP/IP-stack of the host-OS.

Don't try to use Genesis/Miami/AmiTCP on UAE !!!

You just need to check the "bdsocket"-flag in the UAE-setup dialog (where you can also select which kind of CPU and how much RAM the emulated Amiga should have).

As for the Peg-G4 ....

GO FOR IT !!  :-D
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Unless you're using a phoneline modem, in which case they work ok now :-)

Using the BSD socket emulation is a passthrough internet connection that goes via windows, using any currently open connection.  AWeb should just work using this, is it only on downloading stuff you have a problem?  (should come up with a save/open box similar to Windows).

As for manuals, does the 3.9 install include the helpfiles?  On an original 3.9 CD you get the lot in webpage format :-) If not, I'm sure someone has a spare set (I have 3.0 manuals, but they need to stay with my A1200 as I may sell it in the future!).

Indeed, a Blobrana is a single item, whereas a Blobrama is a marketplace where multiple Blobranas may be purchased...
or is that multiple Blobranae?  :-P
