God, wouldn't it be nice to be able to restore your Amiga HD from CD ROM by simply sticking in a CD and letting it boot just like Windoze, instead of buggering around with floppy disks, CDs, patches, etc.

Man, what rock have you been living under? Te A3000/A4000(T) with cyberstorm ppc and a scsi cdrom drive has done this forever.:rtfm:

The cyberstorm ppc has cd support built into the flash rom so its useable at boot time.you simply set it in the cyberstorm early boot menu.

you could also probabaly do the same by storing it in the deneb flash or a elbox flash card.

not sure if the blizzard cards supports this.. i somehow doubt it.

Well it could be a dvd burner,or anything,he mentioned cdrom so thats what i replied about.

Yes it should be possible to put a cdfs in the debeb that shows up at boottime.

What's a cnut? Is it a fruit?

Whatever.... so much did you pay for it? Photos would be nice :)

I imagine it'll just be 3.1 with support from booting from CD.  Probably with a new splash screen on startup.

Nothing too dramatic.

Info on KS3.2 has been available for ages at http://www.gregdonner.org/workbench/wb_b32_40.html
Its an interesting read. :)

It's a shame really, with the case it would be easy enough to make a mould and turn out lots of little Walker clones....
