Looking for Working Amiga 4000 Motherboard
« on: September 13, 2007, 05:27:00 AM »
Preferably an 040. I have a 4000 with a dead board in it and want to return it to life.

Also looking for a decent k/b & mouse.

Let me know!

Many thanks.

You can just get it repaired.  Amiga Center in France does great work.  It will cost you around $100 but the way I see it you might pay more for a replacement MB, might as well get it repaired for cheaper or about the same price and save an Amiga.  He has repaired 3 computers for me and highly recommend him.

Thanks for the advice. This one was pretty mangled so I wonder if it's worth the expense. The A4000 was rescued from a junk pile. Case top and riser were missing so the board was pretty much exposed.I wonder if it can be repaired since some of the tracks look damaged from various bumps with other objects. Everything else seems okay, so I may just use it as spares for another A4000 unless I can find a board.
