Title: Online Sellers
Post by: trekiej on October 18, 2016, 10:48:41 PM
I went to a certain bay on the web and saw where some one could not test a commodore computer.
I am thinking," have you not heard of a t.v."?

I call B.S. on 100% of those posts.  The thing is broken and they'd rather just claim it as "untested" in their ads.  :angryfire:

Can I get an Amen? :)
edit:
I do like the idea of using the preferred seller.

Eh, I dunno.  I have posted stuff up for sale untested for two reasons: first because I couldn't be bothered to test it, and second because some things people will go ape-shyte over if it is tested and prices will go stupid and blah blah blah.

Anyway, sometimes I just don't want to or don't have time to.  In my case, however, there's a much much higher likelihood that it will work.  The rare exception will be something which I bought and wound up never using.

Buyer beware.  Hell, I just picked up a Geneve at the TI Faire which the guy didn't test but I got for a steal.

I guess I would have to admit that I feel a little bad about the topic. I guess some do have good reasons to say that they can not check the items posted.
