Post by: Crom00 on October 17, 2016, 04:46:41 PM
Hello,
I am looking got the sync strainer 23 pin to 15 pin adapter for use with the video toaster and multisync (non comodore 1080 / 1084 rgb montiors). I need to use a sony PVM monitor in RGB mode as it's all I have.

PM with offers please!

The CBM Silver 23 to 15 pin model 390682-03 also has the ability to work with the video toaster and NON 1080/1084 monitors.  I have never seen one other than the standard 390682-01 versions.

I don't think the Commodore adapter works with the Toaster when in genlock mode. You need the Sync Strainer to use a VGA monitor with the Toaster in genlock mode.

Not the 390682-01 version but 390682-03 does.  That is the change.

From: http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?90271-Flicker-fix

the silver Commodore 15-pin to 23-pin monitor connector (part number 390682-03...don't confuse it with the much more common -01 connector) is an equivalent to the Sync Strainer
