finalley got my 1200  to play mpegs...wish i knew what i did different ..anyway  dug up some old mpegs from the net  ..some play very well ..like almost as good as my cd32 /mpeg card  ..seems older the better ..tried all sorts resolutions  interlaced  etc etc ..i use the 040/fpu version  an tried the 020  an the 060/fpu  version  all seems to play the same ..others  that seem to have the same cinepak  codec?? ..not as good ..no sound from any of them ..colour  is  good  ...my question is  i used vdub to do a episode of star trek an i got a result less than good as a avi  ..what program can do mpegs  an code them like the old ones  from 1997  i have ..
A500 3.1/8meg/2gigscsi ...wants a 040
CD32/SX1/FMV/FLASHDRIVE/  wants sx32pro
A1200  os3.5 030/50/fpu/mmu/2flashdrives/cd/   indivision coming ..............wants a ppc/060  ACCEL :laughing:

For mpeg video the fastest is RiVA and AMP2 (AmiDog's Movie Player 2).
