X1000 Processor confirmed as PA Semi
« on: December 20, 2010, 09:05:10 PM »
Ok, this isn't really news to most people by now, but it seems that those that speculated on the PASemi were correct as confirmed in this OS News article:

http://www.osnews.com/story/24151/A-EON_Reveals_AmigaOne_X1000_Processor_Through_Cake

Have to admit, it's a highly amusing gesture on Trevor's part

Of course, the erstwhile Mr Holwerda can take comfort in the fact that he's getting off with eating a delicious cake and not his actual socks. Or far worse than that, one of Bloodline's old ones :roflmao:

Well, who said A-EON couldnt deliver?

They have actually delivered a cake!

PS: BTW, is this X-1000 beast still being tested, has anyone of the betatesters received a motherboard instead of a cake? I am just curious.

"Trevor Dick" can post this on Amigaworld but not on here? Hmmmmph.....

Isn't he supposed to be supporting the Amiga community? And he does this by posting on only one of the 2 major forum sites?

Now that i have had my rant, that is all.
Even my cat doesn\'t like me.

Excellent press release method. Kudos to A-eon for having a sense of humour, and the guts to interact with the press in a confident & constructive manner.

Yeah, but I hope they didn't follow GlaDOS's recipe for it. Seriously, you should listen to it the next time you play Portal :D
