my guess is that anyone searching for amiga.org will just find amiga.org and not be distracted by wikipedia.

good luck, with the wikipedia deletionists it will last all of 5 seconds for being non-notable and not having some 10 page spread in some magazine

I always considered Facebook as a kind of public forum. Things I don't want to be public, I don't put on Facebook. In that light I don't see what the problem is with having an amiga.org Facebook site. For what does amiga.org need privacy ?

greets,
Staf.

When I do a google search for "amiga", this site is already the topmost entry after wikipedia's entry on the machine (and a sub entry on the A500).

It is somewhat surprising then that there isn't a wikipedia entry already.

article about Amiga.org on Wikipedia
Why?

Why would a website need a wikipedia entry?

What could possibly be said there that isn't said on the web page itself?

I will have to agree with Piru. I see no point in it.
