Hopefully it isn't an "April Fools" type of thing.

May the gods COMMODORE (and fish) read you and act.

You forgot to mention that COMMODORE FRANCE recently reborn with George Fornay as CEO.

Rebondir sur une "fausse info" de COMMODORE USA pour un poisson d'avril, c'est faire dans la catégorie THON rouge :)

Thanks for this link.
Let's hope it will be for real and I'll be curious to see a 3000X looking like our good A3000.

I was thinking it was real; just precautious. I wouldn't think someone would put that much effort into creating a website (commodoreusa.net) for an April Fools joke, and the news release on a French website seemed genuine.

Really ? And do you think that efforts have been made here? http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=52138 :)

About COMMODORE USA: this keyboard/computer is for sale for several years now. This is not a production COMMODORE USA. Read this (sorry, in French: http://www.amigaimpact.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3833).

It is real - technically anyway. It's actually been out for a while (this small profile pc). Made somewhere in Asia, it's Intel based and to sum up, a holding company bought the Commodore name and thought they'd cash in on it. Don't be fooled - this thing is as much a Commodore as my Dodge Dakota is a time-traveling Delorean. :)

Actually Commodore USA thought the name was abandoned, I was one of many who informed Commodore Gaming that someone was using their trademark.  Now Commodore USA is negotiating with Commodore Gaming to try to get a license for the name.

Looking at the website for Commodore USA, the word :FAIL: comes to mind....
