E3B announces ALGOR USB controller
« on: March 24, 2003, 01:58:51 PM »
E3B announces the successor of the first Amiga Classic USB controller: ALGOR has successfully finished all necessary tests and is going into production right now.

ALGOR will replace the sold out HIGHWAY Zorro II controller, but will exceed it in terms of performance. The ALGOR is also capable of using the NORWAY networking module for easy LAN access by the Amiga Classic.

Follow the link above to read the full statement and the technical specifications of the ALGOR. A German version is also available.

(Sorry for the news delay, we had severe networking problems here the last day.)

Hi Redrumloa,

no, not Al Gore. This would be an inappropriate name.

Think more astronomic - or take a look on the FAQ pages. :)

I think "Potatoe" is being saved for the next revision - under the board name of 'DQuayle'
