This machine has a high cool factor.
The things I want in a PDA, are a keyboard built-in, large screen, wireless, built in camera, high end processor, and low cost.
Yes, I want it all, but it needs to be a desktop replacement in a pinch, and I need to telnet into work, maybe citrix...from anywhere over a wireless connection.
I have been looking at the latest Palm clie, the 800 dollar model with the 2.1 megapixel camera (though I can find the 240k camera version for less than 300).
500 dollar premium is too much just to get a better camera, and yet I don't want it without the better camera.
OH yes, but the PDA in this article is ultra cool, and was one I seriously considered buying as well. I appreciate the update on the price....I'm going to hold out for a while longer though.
If I was really interested in AmigaDE, then this would be a natural buy. Since I couldn't care less about AmigaDE, I won't be jumping in at this price point.
Lest people think I never buy, I bought a US Robotics Palm Pilot Personal 512k model...years ago, and it was a great value. People thought I had brought a Nintendo to business meetings though....I was too cutting edge.....then later got a Palm III, and people just thought I was so behind the times, what with their Palm V's and Palm VII's....lol
