PPC/060 and A4000T Spacers (X-ray's Folly Part 2)
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: Here it is in all its glory. It is obvious now that the use of the original A4000T spacers in conjunction with the Phase 5 Cyberstorm PPC card results in a tilted CPU card. Unfortunately, when you are concentrating on the CPU and card connectors themselves, they will appear to be perfectly aligned when seen from the connector side. And from the top, it all looks good, especially if the spacers have 'engaged' the card. But only a view from where the drive chassis is removed shows the tilt of the card when the wrong spacers are used. Thanks again to PaSha for the education. I needed that :-D Picture Stats: Views: 1249 Filesize: 183.52kB Height: 768 Width: 1024 Posted by: X-ray at June 12, 2009, 10:24:55 PM Image Linking Codes
