How can a big old honking tower ever be elegant =).

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I personally like big towers with lots of room for expansion.

The only real difference is the plastic front.

The cases surely must be different.
Escom used Enlight (PC) AT towers for the A4000T setups, that they released. They essentially wanted a case which was good enough for the A4000T motherboard. I guess what we got was a case which had the least interference with the CPU slot and inserted CPU board. I am pretty sure that this was the biggest problem in deciding which AT tower to go for, as in 99% of AT towers, the 3.5" bay is in the way of the CPU slot. The motherboards are the same though.

Where did they all go? Does anyone here on A-org own one? What would they go for nowadays?
Hey, I bet that front side (nice) would fit the Amiga Technologies model 4000T (ugly).
