My new motorbike
« on: January 12, 2014, 06:11:09 AM »
This is my new motorbike i purchased second hand from someone who really looked after his bike but was forced to sell it to buy a family car as they recently had a newborn baby. It's a Yamaha FZ6. I've never owned a car/motorbike before so i'm really excited!

The FZ6 is really nice to ride. It's a high revving engine so most of the power is above 10000 rpm. As long as you stay below this it's a really practical bike to ride around town.
Even my cat doesn\'t like me.

Seems like a neat motorbike. Why is the number plate bent though? I've noticed that on quite a few Dutch motorbikes as well. Is that to try to fool speedcams?

No Kesa, I sold an RC30.
I'm looking for an RD400.
They didn't sell an RD500 in the US.

And be careful on the new bike, something that can perform that well can be a handful if you do something foolish.
