There seem to be an absurd number of these games on the market these days, cluttering up lists and directories of the resurgent (finally!) graphic adventure genre.
I just don't understand it. Someone took the most annoying part of the graphic adventure - finding pixel-wide objects in a crowded scene - and made a whole game out of it! A whole (sub)genre! And people are buying them! This sort of thing wouldn't fly as $2 shareware back in the day and now it's not uncommon to see commercial variants selling for close to $10.
So very strange...
