new to the amiga a1200

Hi my name is kevin,for many years i have been still using commodore c64s and amiga 500+ i recently was given an amiga a1200 with a circuit board ,a1200 magnum ram8 would anyone know what it specs are???.it wasnt attached to the a1200 and sites i have been on dont reconise it,on the rear of the
board it says wizard developments 1996,w1208 issue d
any ideas ?? please

I've got a feeling that the board you have is just amemory board without a CPU.Unfortunately I cannot get at my old Amiga mags but I do remember seeing ads for Magnum boards.

It have 2 photos and says:

Max Ram: 8MB
FPU: Optional (40Mhz PLCC 68882)
Ram Type: 1 x 72pin SIMM.
SCSI II: Optional

The Magnum RAM 8 plugs into the trapdoor slot of the A1200 and provides it with up to 8MB of additional RAM. It also includes a battery backed up clock. It has been reported to recognise 8MB even if the PCMCIA slot is in use, but there's no guarantee that it will not cause problems if memory usage becomes high.
