Are you using a different Internet than me?
Possibly.
I have Firefox open right now with 4 tabs, and it's taking 259M.
So I don't see any reason why a more efficient browser couldn't handle a single tab or 2 with much less.
And I see that AROS has SVM (Swappable Virtual Memory) on the plan, so that would make it much more feasible..
http://aros.sourceforge.net/documentation/users/faq.phpPersonally, I would think any website that uses that much memory itself is probably exactly the type of website I wouldn't go to.. :-)
