I assume that is supposed to be some sort of mockery ? Good job, it's important to discourage people who are willing to shell out prizes from thier own pockets in an attempt to create some fun for the community.

Surprisingly, for someone that joined in 2005, you obviously haven't been on the site long enough to get the joke, even though there's an entire social group based on it
here...
It's absolutely
nothing to do with mocking the competition - which I might add was a superb idea, or discouraging people from taking part in it. It was simply in-joke at the expense of a fellow long-time member who I'm sure would have understood the reference.
Still, seeing as it offended you so deeply, I've removed it.
