in the links section most of the images have a thick blue "link" border...

and in the "what's new" block, there is no divider so the forum posts are combined into a huge number...

umm, cosmetic difference, donno if you can be bothered, when you click on more to find out the whole list of who's online, the colour scheme is still from the default xoops theme...

also, could i suggest having a different colour for the header bars of the block's, they look kinda crampt... (sp)

umm, since you don't use it/advertise the use of it i don't know if i should mention this, but if you use xoops' default pda thingy then it still has the default xoops logo...

Group permissions appear correct.  Registered users have access rights to that section.  I heard from Ackbarr this morning who tells me they've seen similar reports with other sites and they will be examining the code today to see if they can find the problem.

FYI, I tried using both 2.0.5.2 code and 2.0.6 code, same result.  It's simply seeming as though permission is NOT granted for userinfo.php, and that's very odd.

The site is possessed :)

heh heh

just running over the basics, you sure everything is chmod'ed correctly?

i had the REALLY annoying task of going to every folder in my xoops directory to set the php's to 755 :( they has all uploaded as 644...

oh and now you can view the members area, and people's profiles, well done :-)

Yeah, that much is simple.  I don't think it's a problem with the actual CHMOD, but Ackbarr (Thanks Ackbarr!) is working in the background, so perhaps he found something and simply hasn't had the opportunity to tell me what he found and fixed.

Wayne

indeed well done :-)

also, cosmetic difference once again, but if you made the backgound #EEEEEE (or #CCCCCC as there is a thin line of it) then there wouldn't be that nasty black border...

ummm, and also, i don't think this can be helped (serves nme right for using the wrong one anyway) but although i see you tried to conserve image bookmarks by getting rid of the -p :-) [i had to use it too...] when you do http://amiga.org/myalbum/ it gives you a white page :-(

[edit]

once again a cosmetic difference but could the "online" thing maybe have a little spacing, and be red with an "!" thingy...?

seeing that most of the major bugs have gone ;-) [well done :-)] could i move onto some wants? :-P

seeing this breaks quite a few things that wayne said initially, i don't mind if this doesn't happen, and don't bother replying with a Excuse me, please read... but this would be VERY useful just under the top menu bar

Code: [Select]

<table border=&quot;0&quot; width=&quot;100%&quot; cellspacing=&quot;0&quot; cellpadding=&quot;0&quot;>
<tr>
<td>
<img src=&quot;<{$xoops_imageurl}>images/switch.gif&quot; width=&quot;25&quot; height=&quot;25&quot; alt=&quot;block control&quot; class=&quot;pointer&quot; onclick=&quot;toggleDisplay('left','block','none')&quot; />
</td>

<!-- Empty Space -->

<td>
<{if $xoops_showrblock == 1}>
<img src=&quot;<{$xoops_imageurl}>images/switch.gif&quot; width=&quot;25&quot; height=&quot;25&quot; alt=&quot;block control&quot; class=&quot;pointer&quot; onclick=&quot;toggleDisplay('right','block','none')&quot; />
<{/if}>
<{if $xoops_showrblock == 0}>
<img src=&quot;<{$xoops_imageurl}>images/swi_off.gif&quot; width=&quot;25&quot; height=&quot;25&quot; alt=&quot;open and close right-block&quot; alt=&quot;block control&quot; />
<{/if}>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

Basically this would show and hide the blocks when you click on the switch button...

wayne, i implemented the block thingy a while ago, but i think i found the key parts...

After this:

Code: [Select]

<!--
<{$xoops_js}>
//-->
</script>

insert this:

Code: [Select]

and insert this:

Code: [Select]

images/switch.gif" width="25" height="25" alt="block control" class="pointer" onclick="toggleDisplay('left','block','none')" />

<{if $xoops_showrblock == 1}>
images/switch.gif" width="25" height="25" alt="block control" class="pointer" onclick="toggleDisplay('right','block','none')" />
<{/if}>
<{if $xoops_showrblock == 0}>
images/swi_off.gif" width="25" height="25" alt="open and close right-block" alt="block control" />
<{/if}>

after this:

Code: [Select]

actually, you might want to just keep the image, or delete that thing altogether, i donno, fiddle about with it if you want...

of course it does!?!?!

it's for moderators to submit stuff!!!

which does however bring me onto my next point, don't make it visible for registered users, only for moderators and webmasters or however you organized it...
