We plan to have two C64 systems (one of them running Shredz64 and the Guitar Hero guitar, and the other with plenty of C64 games)...
After a bit of trouble getting the correct electrical adapter on the PSX64 board for Shredz64, we got it working... much to the delight of the attendees who visited the gaming room.
There were extra monitors there, and I hooked up a C64 DTV 30-games-in-one joystick to one.
...a VIC-20 system...
Up and running. That system is running like a dream.
...and an Amiga 500...
Most popular game with the attendees... Altered Beast. Late tonight the A500 was lent to demo coders who discovered I had brought the music tracker, Octamed Pro. Right now they are making a demo with OP and intend to enter it in the Old School category tomorrow. When they finish using the A500 late tomorrow night, it goes back to its place of honor in the gaming room.
...we'll have a roundtable discussion of Commodore and Amiga on the Notacon Radio channel - planned time of the talk to be on Saturday afternoon.
I found more C= and Ami enthusiasts in the show crowd and invited them to the discussion.
...we plan to have another VIC-20 system in the N7C Notacon Ham Radio room; that VIC-20 will be running the Kantronics Hamtext cart.
After trouble with the extra VIC-20, the keyboard contacts were cleaned and the computer reassembled. It works well now, and all that is needed is for one of the Notacon ham people to attach his transceiver to it.
