I have both of those, as well. Also an excellent choice! But you can't boot off them, so it's kind of a different product.
I'm almost tempted to get that $250 card reader, just to have one as a spare. Almost. :p
That's not a problem since I booting from a SCSI2SD micro SD adapter with a 16 GB card in place.
I'm planning to add a second SCSI2SD device to replace the HDD in the external unit hosting the CD ROM. I bought an extra one just in case, for which I paid $50 including shipping.
I'm not sure if using a SD card bigger than 16GB is possible with the SCSI2SD device due to formatting issues in Amiga, or so I've been told.
Putting a second 16 GB in that second external SCSI device will give me yet more storage capacity and smooth operation.
Or am I wrong?
NEW addition to Original post: After I successfully installed a SCSI2SD micro SD adapter, I am now looking for a new project which would allow me to hot swap cf and/or SD cards. I came across this device from a Japanese manufacturer, so I wanted to hear from you guys if this would be of any use in our systems
