I agree with Wayne's stance here, there is far too much talk and not enough discussion! 'Weehee, this is my 500th post!' is far too naff for an intelligent group of AOrgers to discuss and it takes up far too many bytes. Wayne should consider setting up a Value per Byte survey to see if AOrg's disk space is providing a reasonably acceptable cost benefit.
I suggest that a special section is created called 'Nothing to say'. That way anyone wishing to boost his/her posting count or wishing to test out his/her system could simply make an 'X' mark in the Nothing to Say section and that's it. Everyone's happy.
The majority of us wouldn't need to visit the Nothing to Say section, so saving many man hours online. Others might spend their entire evenings entering X'es and having a whale of a time. In fact it might get quite crowded, but at least there'd be very little substance for Wayne to deal with under circumstances like this.
