Those files look pretty old to me, so any card that's been sold the last few years should already have the latest version on them. Or not ?!?

Is this for the Linksys WPC11 V3? I think it has Prism 2.5 chipset.

Should be atleast for the netgear ma 401, same one as I have. Dunno about others.

I suspect no new Prism-II cards were manufactured after that time (2003). I haven't heard of anyone finding a Prism-II card with WPA-capable firmware already installed.

Well the netgear ma401 [rev. D V2.5], which i bought in 2008, should atleast have a newer version than the one you advise:

Or am i wrong here ? Can't see which version is on the card, as i don't have a pcmcia slot in the pc.

Does the card or its packaging say that it was manufactured in 2008 too? If not, I still think it left the factory about 5 years before you bought it.

That was more or less the question. What was made earlier, the card or the sw package (from 2003) ?! :confused:
