Hi All,

Hi All,
I have compiled the RC3 of Kernel 3.17.
Download: vmlinux-3.17.0-rc3-KVM-PR-FTRACE-AmigaOneX1000.tar.bz2 (http://www.xenosoft.de/vmlinux-3.17.0-rc3-KVM-PR-FTRACE-AmigaOneX1000.tar.bz2)
Could you test it, please? That would be nice because our beta tester Tommy told me, that his USB devices don't work with the RC2. Please test the RC3 with focus on USB devices.
Thanks in advance and a nice week for you.
Cheers,
Christian

Tommy had removed his USB3 card with a VIA chip. After that, all USB devices work without any problems. Stanglnator told me, that his USB3 card with a Renesas (NEC) chip works in his A1-X1000 with the RC3. Thanks to Tommy for testing. :)
By the way, "PR" KVM works very well with the RC3. :)

The performance is OK. Not too slow, but also not very fast. Only Mac OS X Tiger is supported at this time.
@All
I have created a MoL/KVM deb package for these following systems:
- A-EON Live Remix Distribution
- Lubuntu 12.04
- Lubuntu 14.10
Download: mol-kvm_0.9.73.0-ubuntu_powerpc.deb (http://www.xenosoft.de/mol-kvm_0.9.73.0-ubuntu_powerpc.deb)
If you want to allow normal accounts to run MoL through startmol script, you have to use dpkg-statoverride:
sudo dpkg-statoverride --update --add root root 4755 /usr/local/lib/mol/0.9.73/bin/mol

I have figured out, that Mac OS X only boots with the RC1 of kernel 3.17 or higher. Mac OS X doesn't boot with kernel 3.14 and 3.15. I could boot Mac OS X 10.3.4 Panther with the kernel 3.17 too.
