Yeh the CDTV is an A500 in disguise. But as long as it plays Superfrog, Alien Breed and Dizzy which you can get on CD, im fine. Its got the OS if i need anything else, ill probably upgrade it maybe.

Is the CDVT not AGA ?
Do i really need AGA to play said games, and use the workbench etc...?
You do not need a CDTV or CD32 to play games like Superfrog and Dizzy an A500(+) will surfice. You'll also find things like Zool, Moonstone, Civilization, The Monkey Island series, Assassin and many others were on this platform. Although I'm aware some of these titles had their AGA incarnations as well.;-)
You might need an A1200 (with AGA) for Alien Breed I can't remember, maybe I'm thinking of Alien Breed Tower Assault? :-? Not that I've ever played either of those. :-D
