How does this differ from say a A500 mini then?

Just read the Wiki page but it doesn’t give too much away…

Its faster, comes with more RAM. Custom made frontend, with gaming in mind.
I'm sure more info will be posted soon.

Hi,

I was wondering if the A600GS has an audio out port? For those who will be using it as a computer, it would be handy if one could plug speaker systems directly into the unit, instead of hooking it up to an HDMI-splitter. :)

Forgot to ask about keyboard and mouse sharing. I have such a device (USB) that I've used to share this between a Sam Flex and a PC. Do you think this will work with the A600GS and the PC? Mouse and keyboard plugged into the adapter, then one USB-cable goes from the adapter to the PC and one to the GS. Thanks in advance for your answer. :)

I think you could use Andy Broads excellent MKShare to use both systems from one keyboard and mouse.

This looks interesting.

Would it be possible to set different partitions in the AmiBench "mode", like having System: Work: Music: and such?

Also, is it possible to load directly to AmiBench when powered on?

Hello

AmiBench in the A600GS already has some partitions set up:

SystemV46:  - this is the main AmiBench partition containing all the system files

Work:   Users work partition with Sound/Music, Graphics and documents drawers

Programs:  Pre-Install programs for Graphics, Sound and Utilities

You can boot direct into AmiBench instead of the games menu if you wish.

Will it have Amiga keyboard? or generic? Even one without a Win keys would be better. How about menus? Does it have a Magic Menu replacement or does it work with it?

@utri007

Thanks for the questions.

We are working on a custom (optional) keyboard- this will follow after launch.

AmiBench currently has pop up menus which are context sensitive.
