They became too expensive to run. These days, it's all about cramming as many people on a plane as possible, maximum profit.

Still, the concorde still makes any other airliner look like something from the 1900's.

I don't know why they mothballed them.  As far as I know it is the only passenger jet with such an awesome safety record.

Yeah, it sucks they mothballed the concorde. I used to want to fly in one of those buggars since I was a kid. I always thought they looked awesome. :-(

well the black bar is just a part of the image.... the part on the left is tinymeter and the right is gelbespanel, its a Control Panel for MiamiDX.

Is that a network traffic meter in the lower-right corner?  What program is that?  Actually, what program(s) produce(s) that whole bar on the bottom of your screen?
