Gotek Drive enclosure for A2000
« on: January 23, 2018, 01:30:53 AM »
Apologies if this has been asked, but does anyone know of a Gotek enclosure that is better suited for the opening in an A2000?

The factory enclosure is...well...a little too short to be aesthetically pleasing.

Thank You!

That's a nice way of putting it.

I wish products like this were more carefully thought out that way.

Haven't seen a real professional or commercial solution yet, but I have seen where some people with 3D printers, created their own faceplate or bezel to fill the gap. Not ideal, but better than the alternative!

I don't use one personally, but doing a google image search for "Amiga 2000 gotek" yields a ton of pictures of different ways people have done them.  Good luck!  :)
