Nintendo have got many games lined up from the old
Amiga world to go onto the GBA. :-)
what do you think should be ported??
Lotus turbo challange is one
but I would think there are more.... :-D
-
It's all too obvious... Stunt Car Racer... Complete with link-up options! :-)
-
Populous, Die Siedlers, and Foundation.
Does GBA have savegame ability?
-
Yes, GBA has Save Game ability. Don't know how big saves you can have but atleast ~64kb.
-
Old Cinemaware classics, aren't Wings and Defender of the Crown in development/ready?
And heard rumours about Flashback too...
How about Turrican series?
-
Nintendo are going to release a New GB Advance SP (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/stories/news/0,10870,2908185,00.html).
Do they still have a chance to keep the platform going?

I don't think the GBA will go away anytime soon. There's nothing better on the market for handheld consoles (despite what McEwen tells the world). Perhaps the GP32, but that hasn't made the slightest impact on the Nintendo dominance.

I read somewhere that the GameBoy Advance accounts for 30% - 40% of the entire console market (including XBox, PS2, GameCube, etc)...
I don't think it is going away soon.
The new model will be good because it will fix the problems with the display.

The GBA has out sold the game cube, the X-box
and even the PS2!!!.... according to my info. :-o
I would love to see Sky chase (updated) ;-)
and oh yeah STUNT CAR RACE would be COOL!!!! :-D :-D :-D

This is a bit out of topic, but anyway:
Am I the only one who've noticed that Sony and Nintendo now are the good guys of video gaming in general?
Sony swept the market away with insane amounts of dollars when the PSX was launched, and they managed to completely take over the market at the expense of Sega and Nintendo. They weren't very popular at first as the new kids in town.
Nintendo formed price cartels in Europe (got a nice fine by the EU court some months a go) to keep the prices up in the different countries. And during the NES and SNES era they were known for robbing the developers from their hard earned money.
And then, in comes M$ with a nice pile of cash like Sony did.
The result:
M$ is evil and only wants to make money at the expense of others.
Sony and Nintendo only wants to make great games for the kids to enjoy.
oh the irony. :-D

This might be stupid, but on my C=64 days and later on the Amy, I LOVED Electronic Arts' Adventure Construction Set
-
Magic Pockets and The Chaos Engine from the Bitmaps along with Alien
Breed and Superfrog from Team17 would be a good place to start.
I know that the Bitmap's Speedball2 has been converted by a UK based
company who are doing many of the old Amiga ports.

This is actually a very good thread since Amiga has some of the best games ever made. So..
First of all Turrican, my personal favorite and metroids Samus Aran herself feels like his woman counterpart. And Turrican almost made it in n64. :(
Giana Sisters, admit it Nintendo this wonderful game beat marios ass 10-0 :D Only smb3 competes with this one. Still chances for this happening are nill.
Hired Guns. Damnit they cancelled the pc port few years ago and it was close. I was introduced to this very late through the music (.meds) and it rocks HARD.
And what else, or where to begin to be exact. Too many to list. Amiga will always have a special part in my heart :P.

SWOS on the GBA or mobile phone would be nice :-)
-
ALIEN BREED 3D
-
I guess SOTB would be nice to play on GBA!
<----- :-o
-
Didn't Cannon Fodder come out for the GBA?
The problem with the GBA, like PDAs and cell phone games, is that the screen is just too small to make some game worth playing. Games like Empire, Populous, SimCity, and even Settlers need a decent-sized screen.
