Seems like I'm the only one who loved
Chaos Engine?
This was a great game...

Also I've preferred
Settlers,
Alien Breed,
Shadow Fighter,
SimCity2000 (allthough it was so slow..),
Deluxa Galaga,
StarDust and
F1GP...

Agreed, CEII was nothing Bitmap Brothers could be proud of, for me it even seemd that the graphics of the II were some kind of trashy compared to the first version...

2-person playing in team mode was so exciting in the first version...   :-D
