srg86 Posts:211 | May 05, 2005, 01:23:13 PM They became too expensive to run. These days, it's all about cramming as many people on a plane as possible, maximum profit. Still, the concorde still makes any other airliner look like something from the 1900's. srg |
ottomobiehl Posts:363 | November 22, 2003, 11:48:05 PM I don't know why they mothballed them. As far as I know it is the only passenger jet with such an awesome safety record. |
Methuselas Posts:2205 | October 31, 2003, 08:26:41 PM Yeah, it sucks they mothballed the concorde. I used to want to fly in one of those buggars since I was a kid. I always thought they looked awesome. :-( |

SilvrDrgn Posts:1215 | October 25, 2003, 02:35:53 AM Is that a network traffic meter in the lower-right corner? What program is that? Actually, what program(s) produce(s) that whole bar on the bottom of your screen? |
