Title: german computer shop
Post by: sir_inferno on July 15, 2007, 12:29:38 PM
Hi,

I'm currently in Germany (hooraz for ümlauts) and in an attempt to stop someone paying the wrong price for substandard computing equipment (€43 for 512mb of "GSkill" ram...) I'm wondering if  anyone could recommend an online computer supply store which handles next day delivery...im finding plenty of stores which sell crucial/corsair/kingston ram for around €40 including delivery but they usually just say "fast" delivery and i really do kinda need it next day...

Thanks!

I usually order from Reichelt on a regular basis - OK prices and excellent handling & service - and larger orders from Mindfactory (watch out for offers through www.geizhals.at/de !) - good service and prices.

As a new customer you're probably left with COD; that & next day delivery costs quite a bit, so it may still be cheaper to visit a local store for a single stick of RAM.

www.alternate.de is very quick, althogh I don't know if they guarantee next-day delivery.

You could look at www.amazon.de. I don't know about their RAM prices, but usually they are amazingly cheap and also offer free shipping if your order is higher than 20 Euro. But next-day delivery might cost extra.

From my experience a usual online order without extra charge needs two days, not one.

Bye,
Thomas
