Well, Bigfoot just informed me on IRC that he received his three pizzas, but his server is acting up and he won't have it fixed till later this week...

Time to log into IRC and pester Bigfoot again. I hope I'm not getting on his nerves! :)

EDIT: Downloading Pre-release now. Will let you all know how it handles. ;)

Alright, it's been a while since I got this beta or what ever off Bigfoot, I said I'd leave a comment on this so here we go!

At first I was disappointed thinking this was an early early beta release or something as my EMac didn't seem to take very well to this game at all. It would play, but would pause a lot to load pieces of the Map or what ever. I turned all the details down so that it looked like Pitfall on the Atari 2600, but that didn't change a thing....

...two MorphOS updates later and the only pause I've noticed in the game thus far is one minor one at the very start of the game. I've been playing it for about an hour now and so far so good, even on an Emac with pretty much everything turned up!

Way to go Bigfoot, I'm sure the rest of the community is going to go crazy over this once you've made a proper release with docs and all.

Thankx again for letting me get my hands on it early!

Well wait...

I noticed when you hold down run, it don't want to stop running sometimes till you hit ESCAPE, then return to the game.

It does bog a weeeee bit when you are in a huge area with lots of action, and the intro movie looses sound half way through plus the mouse is a tad bit slow in the intermission screens. Again this is on an Emac with 1Gb of RAM, but you'd think it could run a little better...

...though again I must state it's still VERY playable, only suffering from a few minor bugs which I'm sure could be worked out over time...

...if they are have not been already.

If I remember correctly, it was the cover from an old record from the 60's to help train your kids to use the bathroom. Creepy indeed! :)
