I do hope the author decides to do a book on this. I'd buy it in a heartbeat....
-
Has it all been accurate so far? I've been waiting till it's done before reading it.

Very accurate and very detailed. I already knew a lot about the Amiga itself, but the story gives a lot of corporate and behind-the-scenes information that I didn't know yet. And which actually makes me cry even more.... (hell, I even value Bill Gates or Steve Ballmer a million times higher than Irving Gould or Mehdi Ali - incompetent SOBs.......)

While reading this story, I once again realized what
a great machine the Amiga actually was (is ?).
If Commodore had not been destroyed due to poor management, think what they could have accomplished
with todays technology....

Hopefully not a gaming console or a stupid cellphone.....

ahem, "smart" phone.

I heard the source for DPaint was lost... that would have made a fun open source project.

Amiga was now about the gamers, about the bulletin board users, about the demo coders, about the hackers, and about the graphic artists, the animators, and the movie and television creators. It was now about the Amigans.
I never realized how important playing Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizzards was to the success of our favorite platform. Well, I certainly did my part; however, to this day, I wish I'd worn a lubber.

What's wrong was a gaming console? Looking at the CD32 Commodore was better a designing consoles then Atari.
