Good way of getting a valuable Real Time Clock in your CD32 too!

But seriously, with this you can also plug in a sound sampler or video digitiser as well. So you could record samples and capture images and clips and save them to a floppy disk. Good way of exporting all your saved games from the limited NVRAM too, so you can wipe them and save more games. It sucks when its full and you can't save the game you're playing.

watch out for Analogic Computers - chances are the'll email you back requesting some insane shipping charge.

I bought a cd32 from them (on ebay) for £40 and they came back and demanded £65 for shipping, which I reluctantly paid, finally they never shipped it and were very insulting in their correspondence with me.

I told them they either needed to send my CD32 or refund my money. I escalated the issue with paypal and was able to get my money back...

How these a$$holes have 99% good feedback on ebay I have no idea...

49.50 pounds is a fair price, but I could not find any info about their floppy drive  for CD32 on Analogic's website.  In fact, I could not find any information about any of their Amiga products, even though they have an Amiga/Atari section, it is blank.

I wonder what format(s) their CD32 Floppy Drive can read/write, 720kb, 880kb, 1.44mb, 1.76mb? And more info on the parallel port would be nice to know too.

realise this is 49.50 british pounds and not US Dollars so around 78USD.. add the shipping from the Uk and you will easily make it around the $120 range most likely

It's the same as a standard 1mb (880k) Amiga drive. The parallel port is the same as any other Amiga as well. It also has a gfx output connector - not sure of it's "name" but I have had one connected to a 1081 through a SCART cable in the past.

Edit: reading the specs of the floppy drive it appears to be a HD floppy drive. But, I think it is actually configured as a DD drive.
