Description: Bugger, it's moulded...
I was hoping to add a +5v sense wire from the power connector back to the ATX PSU (For an A1200) that I’m wiring up, but unfortunately this doesn't seem to be easily possible.

That's how it’s wired at the moment, but the purpose of the +5v sense wire is to adjust the voltage output of the PSU to help counteract the voltage drop across the supply leads (In the same way as it was wired originally – To one of the motherboard +5v power pins in the connecter).
With it wired back to +5v inside the PSU, the benefit of having a +5v sense wire available is nullified.

Put the sensor inside the PSU!
