Amiga Magazines / APoV issue 5 released
« Last post by blackcornflake on May 25, 2024, 03:00:14 PM »
Hi! Some of you may remember me from such films as Teenage Window Licker and That's Not My Hairpiece.

You may also remember an Amiga zine called APoV. It has been dormant for years but now we've brought it back. It's the story of Jurassic Park, basically.

APoV 5 has a bunch of neat-o Amiga content over 72 pages, including an interview with Magnetic Fields, the first part of a countdown of Amiga-exclusive games, a look at games from another dimension, games with ropes and swinging, and lots of reviews of classic games including Naughty Ones, Zynaps and Road Rash. Games are very much our focus, if you couldn't tell.

Here's the itch.io page where you can download a free sample or buy the mag (PDF or print)! https://apov.itch.io/apov5

Here's the Patreon page where you can show your love by sending us money! https://patreon.com/apovmag

Here's our X! https://twitter.com/APoVAmiga

Here's our Mastodon! https://mastodon.social/@APoV

Phew. All out of breath now.

Seriously though (you guys), it would mean a lot if you could spare some time to come check us out. We're a miniscule team so any support or feedback counts for a lot.

Robin Hood Legend of Sherwood is currently no more than an experimental "proof-of-concept" to verify our believes we could make such a complex game run on classic Amiga (using Apollo V4 accelerator). Now that we are in a more mature stage of the proof-of-concept, we are inquiring within Amiga/Apollo community if there is enough genuine interest to bring this project to a next level. Based on the outcome of this inquiry we will make roadmap decisions, including other target platforms than Apollo V4 (like PiStorm).

Amiga Hardware Issues and discussion / PP&S DoubleTalk Drivers
« Last post by clark on May 22, 2024, 05:46:09 PM »
Hi all,

I recently came into possession of two PP&S DoubleTalk cards.

https://bigbookofamigahardware.com/bboah/product.aspx?id=918

I can't seem to find the software for these cards anywhere...grandis.nu, archive.org...I've searched all over...

Is anyone here in possession of driver disks and/or manuals?  If so, I'd like to borrow them, and get them into one of the archives!

Thank you,

-Clark

Wow! Looks awesome! I wouldn't believe this was running on an Amiga! 👍🏻

Any plans to port this over for PiStorm use?

Cheers 🍻
