My brother and I plan to be there. And I plan to bring along my a600, with the aca620 and internal cd rom drive ;)

It might have an internal dc-dc power supply by then too.

Some replies to previous comments:

eliyahu - Thank you for your kind comments! :)  I'm sure one of us will ask Jonathan about that!

gertsy - Thanks also for your comment regarding Adelaide - I'm sure there were also some great things that came from Melbourne too!  Should also mention that we also had the the 8Meg Board for the 1000 & 500, a custom made AM560 system for the 500 that fitted underneath as well as the Input/Output Board :)  All these designed by Andrew Wilson here in Adelaide under Phoenix.

dschallock - Yes we are very fortunate to have Jonathan attending.  He is traveling from Melbourne for this event!

Just a final reminder to all on here who are contemplating the idea of attending - next Monday is the day!

We have had an overwhelming response of those who are attending.  We are expecting this to be the largest event we've had so far this year.

Look forward to seeing you all there!

- George

Who's ready for tonight!

I'm not really, but I'll still be there with my magical A600!

I'll be there. Thanks for organizing George.

@AmmaJammo, looking forward to seeing the A600. Always wanted one but it's difficult to find a good one these days.

Then people like me find them, and "destroy" them :hammer:

I also did an Amiga 600 project last year, covered in the blog in April/May/June/July 2014. Lots of blog post parts, covered from the ground up, the hardware upgrades done, and OS build from the beginning. Some links if interested to read about it - plenty more blog posts in that period covering the build of course - just check the side bar for the posts or search for "Amiga 600" in the search field...

The A600 is a cool machine to muck around with :-)

Might bring my A600 on another meeting. Look forward to seeing yours tonight @AmmoJammo!

Kind regards,

George

Thanks for the photos and for organising the event.

It was a lot of fun - I had a busy night building the X1000, but it great to see and chat to many new faces there as well as the regulars!

Looking forward to the next one :-)
